Where is Mi Peru located in Darmstadt?

Mi Peru Restaurant & Tapas Bar is at Heidelbergerstraße 40, 64285 Darmstadt. Getting there: tram 1, 7 or 8 to the Prinz Emil Garten stop. Parking: best at the Hubbelparkplatz car park, Heidelberger Straße 1A (64283 Darmstadt), or in the side streets Goethestraße and Hermannstraße (metered parking).

What are Mi Peru's opening hours?

Open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm (kitchen until 10:00 pm), and Friday and Saturday from 6:00 pm to midnight (kitchen until 11:00 pm). On Sundays we are also open for lunch from 12:00 to 3:30 pm. Tuesday is our closing day. The live status is shown on the homepage.

What kind of cuisine does Mi Peru serve?

Mi Peru is a Peruvian-Spanish restaurant and tapas bar: ceviche, lomo saltado, anticuchos, ají de gallina, causa limeña, paella and other classics. Plus a curated tapas menu to share and a selection of Peruvian pisco varieties including Pisco Sour at the bar. Mi Peru is run by a family from Lima (Peru) and Valladolid (Spain).

Do I need to reserve a table?

Are there vegetarian and vegan dishes?

Yes, plenty. Vegetarian options include Quinoa Vegetariana, Paella Vegetariana and Arroz Chaufa, plus many tapas and starters. Vegan options include Ceviche Vegano, Tacu Tacu Vegano, Arroz Chaufa (also vegan), Causa Rellena Vegana and Yuca Frita. All labels are listed on the digital menu.

Are gluten-free dishes available?

Yes. The Ceviche Clásico and the paella, for example, are gluten-free. Many other dishes can be prepared without soy sauce on request and are then gluten-free. Full allergen and additive information is available on the digital menu.

What is ceviche and what is Pisco Sour?

Ceviche is Peru's national dish: fresh, weekly-changing fish marinated in lime-based “leche de tigre” with red onion, coriander, sweet potato and cancha. Pisco Sour is the classic Peruvian cocktail made from pisco, lime, egg white and bitters.

Does Mi Peru offer takeaway, delivery or a lunch menu?

Yes, takeaway and delivery are available. A lunch menu is offered as a buffet on Sundays only (12:00 – 3:30 pm). You'll find the details and linked delivery services on our To-Go page.

Are gift vouchers available?

Yes. Gift vouchers are currently available directly at the restaurant. Online ordering is coming soon.

Mi Peru accepts EC/debit card, credit card, payment by invoice and PayPal.

What does the name “Mi Peru” mean?

“Mi Peru” means “My Peru”. Behind it is a family from Lima (Peru) and Valladolid (Spain) bringing their home cooking to Darmstadt — with Peruvian pisco at the bar and fresh fish.
